ETW artists present works they created with a professional artist they admire in mind. Here, one of the participants shares a charcoal and marker drawing he did in the style of Jean-Micheal Basquiat to represent his experience living in his community. Another one of the participating artists shares a painting she created in response to the artist Kehinde Wiley’s work. She points out the areas of influence drawn from Wiley and where she includes her own ideas and techniques.
